Eric Tessin
A graduate of Sacramento State University and a Marin County native, Eric began his career in the non-profit industry before deciding to enter the family Real Estate Appraisal business in 2021. Over the first 2 years of his career, Eric honed his appraisal skills with the guidance of his father, Michael.
In October 2023, after accruing over 1500 hours of residential appraisal experience and completing over 100 reports, Eric earned his Certified Residential Appraisal license and started his own appraisal company, Tessin Appraisals. Since that time, Eric has completed 600+ appraisals across Marin and Sonoma County ranging from land sales to luxury properties.
Eric has experience with Date of Death Appraisals, Single Family Residential Appraisals, Condominiums, Land Appraisals, New Construction Appraisals, Luxury Property Appraisals, Exterior-Only Appraisals, and more.
Michael Tessin
Michael Tessin is a Marin County native, growing up in Kentfield and attending Redwood High School.
After graduating from UC Davis, Michael spent five years in Lake Tahoe working as a marketing professional. Michael returned to Marin County to pursue a career in Real Estate. Michael purchased his first home in Marin City and was invited to join the board of directors of the Marin City Community Development Corporation. The Board was responsible for the residential and commercial real estate developments within the neighborhood. In 1989, Michael married his wife Maggie. With children on the horizon, Mike and Maggie decided to settle down in Novato to raise their two kids, Angela and Eric.
A Certified Residential Appraiser for over 35 years, Michael has a wide breadth of real estate appraisal experience in the Marin and Sonoma County markets, including Date of Death Appraisals, Single Family and Multi-Family Residential Appraisals, Condominium Appraisals, Vacant Land Appraisals, New Construction Appraisals, Exterior-Only Appraisals, Appraisal Reviews, and more.
